The Practice of Islam in America, edited by Edward E, Curtis IV, introduces readers to the ways in which Islam is lived in the United States. It takes readers into homes, religious congregations, schools, workplaces, cemeteries, sports arenas and restaurants to understand diverse religious practices of Muslim Americans. Each month we will focus on one chapter, bringing to you a panel of local Muslims to discuss their own practices and celebrations. The editor, Edward Curtis, will be our special guest at the Introductory session on Jan 7. In addition, to enrich your experience, you’ll find short videos, questions and to-dos at https://practiceofislaminamerica.wordpress.com/Sponsored by the Interfaith Relationships Ministry.
